Aluciont replied to me but wasn't specific in his reply... He said that other people had already poked him about FFXIV and that's all he really said.

Hmmm. I hope more people turn up as we get closer to the launch date!

Haku -- saw him poking around @ Nakama within the last two weeks.
Pitlith -- Doing well, started a new job, kind of busy I think.
Fodder -- Still playing XI on Bismarck lasted I check.
Archain - Now in Arizona with Snuggle.

That's all I have immediately.
 
Oh, man. I hope Benny plays more on Hyperion. I miss his voice. Same with Archain. That's crazy that he lives in Arizona now lol

does he have friends on Ultros?

Ultros just happened to be the world people chose during beta testing. I think Benny picked up some new friends along the way.

@Archain, I'm not sure if moved for @Snuggle or his job.... Or both!

@Fodder got a new house out in the sticks, his Internet is basically some strings and some tin cans, lol.

@Eticket is busy with work and his mini-me. @Sassafras - basically just busy being a great mom.

Hmmm. Who else...
 
Hi guys!! Hyperion is where I intend to spend most of my time. Ultros came up for me because Rayna and her LS are all rolling characters there, and also my friend who will be playing was kind of interested in a non-legacy server (but I think he'll be playing with me on Hyperion as well). I duo'd up to 15 in phase 3 beta with Haku; I think he will probably be playing! Fodder's looking into some better internet options but I don't recall how long it'll be before that happens. He is in a very serious endgame XI LS though. So not totally sure how much time he'll be putting into XIV. I'm very interested to see if Aqua decides to play or not. I'd really love a chance to chat with him again!!
 
Do you guys think the relaunch will be any good? Between my 4 month old and work, which includes 3 12 hour shifts and a 1h 45m commute each way, I don't have a lot of time. That being said, I might pick it up and play with you guys a but though I'd likely never be able to commit to anything like endgame more than sporadically.

Everyone doing well?
 
Garret, beta was a ton of fun, and there's loads to do but nothing like ffxi where you have to dedicate loads of time. It's very refreshing. Try open beta when that starts within next week or two, just to check it out and judge for yourself.

I'm gonna try to be more casual this time myself.. lol

Ah Benny! Thanks for dropping by. Didn't know you had met with Haku already, that's good news. :) Can't believe Fodder is still going, he's got damn near every trinket that XI offers for endgame stuff. I do hope his internet situation improves though.

I'm working on Aqua, it's taking some time.

The best thing you can do is try the open beta when it starts, which is very soon. I played actively during phase 3 and it was worlds away from what FFXIV 1.0 was. So much improvement and it's not such a time sink as XI was for every single solitary task. :yawn:

Holy shit about 1h 45m commute each way! :wacky:Are you driving or taking a train?

We'd love you you floating around time by time in the game. :finger:

I'll probably pick it up if I can have honorary Dynamis organizer status. Can you keep characters from open beta? I generally have a policy against playing beta phases.

My commute is a train then a 35 minute walk but I work from home Sundays and get a three day weekend every week. Looking to pick up some real estate work on the side though for some extra $$$.

Tough to turn down playing with folks again even if more casual. I'll be happy to gank phat loot from whoever is hardcore though :)

Garret - Yeah barring anything particularly nasty you'll be able to keep your character from phase 4 (allegedly starting this Friday but we'll find out for sure tomorrow morning).

I'm doing my damnedest to get my group of friends to roll on Hyperion but they all want to start on a "fresh" server...

edit: There's a hyur model that looks just like my character from XI that's VERY tempting because of nostalgia but I'll probably be playing a manthra.
