They need to abandon PS2 and made the game hardware accelerated. Sony already abandoned the PS2 HD, why can't SE?

Like they aren't by constantly adding jobs? lol . Plus all the work they would have to do and the massive update if they did abandon the ps2 would be insane. Imagine if one thing was made really nice. now it stands out would you keep it nice or make it crappy oir make everything else nicer? Making the whole world nicer in game plus mobs models armor etc etc. I think this would bring much needed attention to the game but then it would stress some peoples computers. I don't care about their computers though.

and notice how long they last? how many even do the eijishamer or w/e it is pretty much from every forum i have read it is summed up as not worth the gil. Just a lot of things the dont last long add some REAL pvp or something not this "timed on teams" carebear stuff lol like an arena where when you enter its a free for all or allow dueling stuff like that would in my opinion greatly improve things. And shut many other players up. you know who i mean... those "i own everyone but wont ballista and if i do i'll blame my team" types

Not everyone is into PvP. That's the main reason I play this game. Competitive online games tend to bring around more assholes than we already have. Plus, it's so much more fun working together than against each other. I'll take a strictly co-op game over an "i'm gonna kick your ass" game any day.
Tarnak, the problems with the things that you say.. they're all opinions, and with the thousands that play, it'd be hard for SE to nail EVERYONE's opinions and give them exactly what they want; however, that doesn't mean that they aren't adding things just because they aren't adding what you want 
Salvage, new missions, Nyzul stuff, and Einherjar when its fixed are all great additions that came relatively recently, all stuff they have added alongside three new jobs that admittedly are pretty balanced, I don't see what the problem is =p Sure, they could add some more PVP stuff, but perhaps they are just not thinking on it since they are focusing their efforts elsewhere? An entire new expansion is just over the horizon and you're saying they don't ever add anything new xD

Unicorns are kickass!
They need to add ship building and you can build your own ships, everything from a scooner to a 121 gun gallion. Then they need to make it so you can PvP with other ships and board them and have close quarter combat. Then they need to have islands where you could capture and make them your LS island like a homepoint for the LS.
