Lets get this Party started!!

I don't know how many people are interested in sponsoring, but if it's more than 3 or 4, then I'm not entirely sure if a rotation including every person would be ideal. Even with 4 people, assuming they sponsor their 2 runs per month, with an average of 250 coins per run, that's about 28 months from start to finish on a relic. Just a thought.

Monday I am going to start 2 different polls. One will be for the cycles and the other for what day/time the runs will be on.

As of right now poll for the cycles (50%+ attendance for being able to lot af) would only be a 2 week cycle and month cycle pole. If anyone wants to see something else post here or PM me before monday.

Same kinda deal with day time. As of now what would be put in day/time poll is Tuesday/Saturday night, Tuesday Night Saturday afternoonish, Wednesday/Sunday night, Wednesday night Sunday afternoonish. So if you can think of any other times you might want in the poll let me know so I can make sure its up there when it gets posted.

If we do decide to change the days/times, it would be a good idea to make sure it doesn't conflict with other dynamis shells. I don't know how many/what days/what zones other shells do, Garret or Chame would probably know better, but zone conflicts with current DX times have been few and far between, for the most part.

Already talked to Garret about this. Kinda the reason why I want to know ahead of time what our dynamis times will be. Cause if the days do change I need to see if there are any shells running on the days we would switch to and work out a schedule with them.

You might want to start scouting that information out now, just to get an idea of options.

Its not gonna start till July so have plenty of time. Plus will be polling for times on Monday so we should know when the runs are going to be by middle of next week at the latest. Times are kinda open when people want them. Since people do build dynamises off of shouts and just go whenever kinda hard to know if its temp run or perm run like DX. People should really be saying when it would be ideal for them to go dynamis. Obviously we will be going when it is most convient for the majority of the LS. But if no one is saying what times they like best even if it is abstract then there is no chance of it being that way. Who knows. People could very well vote to go dynamis Monday and Thursday.

I must have missed the memo then.

I was under the impression no leadership had been decided on yet.

I thought the same thing, and if this is a LS only thing shouldnt the existing sacs be leading this?

Fodder asked in LS several weeks back who would be interested in leading and Heie said that he would. I said that I would be willing to help where I could. Fodder and Heie have been working out details about it. There was also a thread by Aa asking who wanted admin rights/leadership. I thought that the general feeling in the LS was that a sac should not need to hold everyones' hand for things to get done, so I see no reason that a sac should need to lead if none of them asked for leadership and someone else said that they would be willing to lead. I think Heie has been doing a good job getting the ball rolling and staying open to suggestion. Leadership is something that Ultima has been looking for lately for various different reasons, we need to show support when someone steps up to lead.

I agree. However I too had been wondering if this was the official planning or not. Just a quick note from a sackholder saying "after discussion with the other sackholders, Heie (with help from Yelsa) will be spearheading this" would be plenty. Maybe that was in Aang's thread, but I don't remember seeing it.

We don't need sackholders to do everything (or even most things), but a quick "this is officially sanctioned" can help things along.

Firstly, I'm fine with Heie leading.

Secondly, I would like to see the runs continue on the previous DX schedule. By that, I mean the scheduled time, not an hour and a half after that when everyone decides to show up. Wed by 8:00 and Sun by 8:30 EST would be perfect, and would get us done before midnight at the latest. Regardless, I'll cast my vote when the poll comes.

Thirdly, I'm gonna go ahead and be the first to disagree with the current opinions about Wootz ores, even though I'm sure a poll will come. I agree that 100s should go to sponsors, however, if we do that we need to give people something to lot in zones that don't have AF they need. I don't see why people in an active Salvage LS should get priority, considering it's much easier to get ores than Salvage drops, and every single member can use ores. If anything, make a similar rule to the one we use for sponsors: you can lot ores as long as you're not selling em off for gil.

exactly

While i would love to see Wootz Ores go to Salvage upgrades there needs to be something for the people who aren't lotting AF to lot. Need to keep people interested in Dynamis and not alienate them. People needing ores for upgrades can just lot synth materials imo.

I would also like to recommend the current Sacs of DX. They did a great job for DX.

It would be nice if the sponsors can keep 100's just like SOAP. It makes the upgrade progress go much faster.

EDIT

I would very much like to see Dynamis stay on the current days myself.

With the cycle being a month it will take 4 runs of that current month to have 50% attendance.

It's really no different to DX imo. It take 4 runs to get 4 points before the person can lot a city AF.

If anything, people joining late should expect a little wait before lotting. Others have been with the LS before they joined so seems only fair.

SOAP was a top shell because you had little competition due to the nature of smaller runs, less idiots, currency went towards a relic and less lag :)

I would prefer to keep dynamis current DX time on wednesday and have it moved up to about 3 pm on Sunday. Like Nekio said though would prefer if we can enter by 8 rather than 9-9:30 on Wednesday.

As far as inviting people to the shell I like the idea of each Ultima member being able to invite one, and only one person from outside the shell. As we currently have 15-20 people from the shell who seem interested I think that this will put numbers about where they need to be for northlands. Invitees should, in my opinion, be able to come consistently and be skilled at their jobs and should follow the same lotting rules as members.

Not only skilled but "willing" to come as job needed for the task i hope :D

I'm throwing my hat in to ores being for anyone attending who wishes to upgrade Salvage body armor. Wednesday/Sundays are fine with me as well. Nothing too terribly late, but imo, I would make the "gather time" be about an hour earlier with the hopes of actually starting by normal time. Even though it is less people to worry about, there will be stragglers.

Well, if we do it like SOAP was, the sponsors would be given sacks and would lead the run. If person X was leading the run for the night, he/she would set up teams and would buy glass, etc. Was Kalia, Archain, and Fodder at one point, alternating. Depending on how many people are sponsoring this time around, I would think that same strat would work. Of course, you may say that this isnt SOAP, and I would agree, so it is up to everyone on how sacks work out.
