The Sony press conference at E3 just announced FFXIV, and it's "online."

Yup just saw that too. And it's only going to be on the PS3.

I was surprised when they said it would be released in 2010 since that's when FFXIII is supposed to make it here, but seeing "online" in the FFXIV title was a shock.

Hmm, Kotaku is reporting that it's console exclusive to PS3, but PC will have a version as well.

Just watched the video of it. Looks like it'll have a hint of sci-fi to it, kinda like FFXIII. Also looks like Galkas are making a return, lol.

PC not a console? Maybe they meant the only (and therefore exclusive) console to get it is the PS3 - so no XBox360's
