Worth playing as a new final fantasy player?

I have never played final fantasy but own 10 10-2 and 12 on ps2 (havent played yet). I know the game released in 2021 is it still pretty active? Worth getting into for someone this late who has never played a FF game? I do enjoy rpgs and have played mmorpgs in past. I downloaded the trial and am trying it out currently if anyone has tips
