Full title is: Why are the small, cute and girly races more popular amongst players, while badass/tomboy races like FemRoes and FemHrothgar remain so unpopular?
Female Miqotes are the number 1 at most played races and number 2 is female Au Ra
3 might be female Viera ? (not sure) but I read somewhere that some players wished they were smaller, like 1,60cm or 1,50cm
Meanwhile female Roe or Hroths are played by a tiny fraction of people
I personally, really love FemRoes and FemHrothgars
They make amazong tomboy girls and fierce warrios also they have a vibe that they
could snap a primal in half with their bare hands and yet theyre not that popular
Im curious about the psychology about this. What makes the most people love those female Miqotes and female Au Ras
I mean I even know a lot cis dudes who play them instead of a male Miqote or male Au Ra
Why does the Cute and Small rule the Eorzea world.
Also Lalafells are not that popular, is it because they look a bit childlike or something?
Hyur and Elezen I dont see often as well, I can understand it for Hyur, because its the basic Human race and
people want to play something fantasy-like
As a transgirl myself I usually play a female character unless the male character does not look too manly
I prefer when the character looks androgynous
I also dont like when the character looks too weak or slim without any muscles, because from other
games I never understood why the male character wears a 200kg armor meanwhile the female character wears an armour
which its weight is probably like 5kg or less, that never made any sense to me
I mean if they fight they should always have muscles and not look like a Barbie doll
What are your opinions on this?
