Seriously, Toss all the general UltimaLS rules out the window and free for all?

Yeah i know, i don't do Ultima Limbus but I'm disappointed and can this be what other people can expect at Proto-Ultima/Omega?

1. Limbus is not HNM, there are weeks of work leading up to Proto pops. Due to the random- and unexpectedness of when I schedule boss fights, I would overall like to be able to express leniency in terms of someone with good attendance having to miss a run that just happens to be a boss run.

2. It would have been applied to anyone in that situation, if that's what you mean. All those capable of lotting under the current rules have shown dedication and outstanding attendance, and I'd hope that as a group we'd do our best to help them out in the RARE OCCASION that they get screwed and can't make a boss day. The work for Homam/Nashira doesn't revolve around killing the boss, it comes from the farming leading up to it. If I didn't make it clear last night that I will absolutely NOT allow this on a regular basis, I'm doing so now.

3. I've had to change a lot of "ultimals" rules to even make Limbus possible within Ultima and get people to come. In general we've been successful, however...

4. ...it's come to my attention that there are more than just the few people I orignally thought who are not happy with the rules as they stand. I've always encouraged openness and suggestions when it came to how I was doing things in Limbus, so I'm extremely disappointed that any member wasn't able to come to me to express their concerns.

For the record, we will be farming two Tem areas this coming week, then will have a two week break for Christmas and New Years. I'll be re-examining the direction of Ultima Limbus over that time, so if you have any specific complaints, continued concerns, or new suggestions, now is the time to bring them up.

Cliff Notes: Chiiana requested that Redd log her on for Omega last night so she didn't lose her chance to lot. Chiiana has 100% attendance at Limbus. This was a particularly grueling cycle with a couple losses. I agreed to allowing it in this instance, with the assurance that this is not something I like to do but will allow on rare occasions. She didn't win anything, anyway. People got pissed, anyway.

this exact same thing came up with Negatron

my feeling on it was that someone could log on and lot if they actively participated in the fight. like nekio said, it's not something to do all the time but if someone shows up to every run and then gets rl'ed I don't see why people can't make exceptions.

people used to run other peoples' characters through dynamis all the time.

It's not as if the chest dropped, then all of a sudden Chii popped online with flag up going LOOTZPRZ. Redd played her toon throughout the fight, as RDM/DRK. Had Redd had enough attendance to lot himself, he would have had to forfeit that right to lot on Chiiana's character. Furthermore, had they been sketchy about it and not even said anything to me in the first place, I would have never even known it wasn't Chii playing.

P.S. No offense to you Def, but I get reeaally irritated when people channel their complaints through an intermediary that isn't even involved with the group. Which brings me to my second thought, which kind of solidified with the recent redirection of the LS's goals: I really can't even consider this "Ultima" Limbus when half of Ultima doesn't participate. It's a static Limbus group that happens to include only Ultima members, just like Nyzul and Salvage. With that said, many thanks to those members who do come just to help out! Elvier in particular, but there are others. We wouldn't be as successful as we are without your help.
 
I'm going to guess it was probably the "boys" complaining and it probably went something like this "I know she didn't win but it was a matter of principle. So I'm just going to bitch/leave and bring the morale down even more." I swear to god, I have never been around so many man-bitches before in my life. If only the LS was filled with women.... Then we would all have great hair and well kept toe nails. I'd much rather listen to Lexa babble on about her day then listen to a bunch of self serving jack asses.

Well, I wasn't exactly planning on these sorts of things happening, so it's not like I could have spelled it out ahead of time when I first started up the group. Considering we've done somewhere on the order of 7 bosses so far and this is the first time it's come up, I don't expect it to happen again any time soon.
 
Sorry if it's been an issue but yeah, I did have full attendance which Redd assisted me with for the boss run because I put in the same work everyone else does, and figured if it wasn't a problem I'd like a chance at gear that I never win. Regardless, he normally isn't even home during our runs due to work, so this was a special case.

I don't do this in dynamis or LS and won't be making it normal practice for limbus. Was simply him being thoughtful and agreeing to help me out. And like it was said, I didn't even win. What else is new~
