I've been playing for a while now, I think my total game time Is something like a week - I'm one of those odd people who really enjoy the story's in games. I admit that ARR dragged at times, but it's true that it just gets better! With HW culminating in a satisfying tie back to the end of ARR and a whole bunch of delicious lore!
The main thing that got me coming back, was the community - I play on Materia/Sephirot and it's just always good. There is some... Characters, a few odd balls - but mostly everyone's so cool, helpful. Managed to join and FC and make a couple of good friends too!
May not be the experience for everyone, and I think honestly being Free trial for so long forced me to find other ways to make connections, but I encourage anyone who's struggling to find a group, or a reason to keep playing - to keep trying... Limsa seems to be a fun place to meet people too, or at least have a chuckle
