I was always Machinist. I have a fondness for my weak gun. I don't care of it's a glorified pellet gun, it's just fun. Having said that, I like some of the changes they made to the abilities they added to Chainsaw and a few others. Then I played Viper to 100 and that took the place as my fav job and I'm pretty sure Viper abilities and gameplay will be a bit similar to the new evolved mode and if it is, I like it.
But recently, I decided to be disruptive and take on Red Mage. I will say, I'm not a big fan of caster roles for myself. Not a fan of being so static, but dual cast helps with that. But by levels 70-80, I started falling in love with it. I love the melee burst phase that just scratches my brain in the best way, especially if I manage to time my backwards jump to avoid a mechanic (and not off the podium. Yes it happened. No, I'm not proud of it). But I love how flashy the job is. And every now and then when melee doesn't lb3 on time, it's so much fun watch enemies get scorched in a massive explosion.
So what are you favorite jobs at the moment? Are you excited about the upcoming evolved mode changes? That dragoon jump in evolved mode looks pretty sick, but I can imagine I would accidentally miss my target and just fly to the ground next to the boss like an idiot.
