So far we have very little information on their new system for progressing our item level every week. We've only seen the target render screenshots of weekly tasks already shown at Anaheim, and I know we'll get more info on this ultimately in Tokyo.
I still can't help but wonder, and have concerns about this all.
- Will this be like Khloe's book? Where I have to do what the rng dice tells me every week instead of doing what I want to actually do? Wouldn't this go against everything they've said so far, that they do strive for player's freedom?
- So far the only positive thing I've seen about it is that they removed the daily barriers to allow players to set their time however they want during their whole week. This is good, and allows for more personal freedom.
- If the screenshot is to be believed, a lot of different activities can be done, including a lot that aren't even PVE related. Does this mean I can also progress it by doing PVP? I like PVP is this game. Would I be able to progress mostly by doing PVP?
I hope CBU3 will keep in mind that on top of being able to organize their weekly time however they want, people also want to play what they like in the game and not being shoehorned into content they hate because the rewards are only there.
