Maybe it's just because of how much I love Kugane, but there are at least 2-3 city-states post -ARR worthy of a GC, or at least all of the side benefits of them such as traveling between world servers on the same DC, collectible appraisers. Some of them already have housing districts, a hunt board and an inn.
My poll for return points showed that only like a few people chose Radz-at-han or rhalgr's reach, and it was mostly for craft/gather benefits at that point in their progression or something, but they have collectible appraisers. The numbers just don't add up when you factor popularity.
Now I don't play PVP, but if you're concerned about that or your FC standing with your current GC or whatever then I of course no one would be forcing you to start anything over, and what you'd basically be saying is, "I don't want the option of going with something I know I would prefer, so it'd be better if we didn't so I'm not tempted." and that's no good, you deserve to be happy and rank up from a cool city state that reflects your vibe
So what do you guys think? I'm thinking Ishgard, Kugane, the Crystarium, Tuli?
