 | I was watching a YT short talking about a brief history of WHM and BLM and in the comments someone asked if Water and Ice magic were the same. As a player, its obviously not because the Elemental Chart shows Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Wind, and Earth. And that brought up an old feeling. I love water magic in media and it's weird that it doesn't play as big of an aspect for us the players. It has always kind of bothered me that there isn't a job in FF14 that utilizes Water magic. WHM's have a couple Water aspected spells and BLU can learn some from enemies. But it is almost completely an enemy only aspect. But that also made me think, in past FF games water has never been a main element for spells.
