 | So today, another popular MMO (Runescape) announced a price increase to their subscription costs. Now, r/Runescape has been going a bit nuts over it, and whenever this happens players often compare it to other MMOs. So, I feel like $15 a month for a game that most players definitely play more than 20-30 hours/month really isn't that bad of a deal. When attempting to explain my stance as to why FFXIV vs RuneScape is not a great comparison, I was basically told that I was in the minority of players and basically delusional for needing additional retainers. So I ask, do you pay for additional retainers beyond the 2 included ones? Do you feel the cost:benefit analysis makes the $2/mo/retainer worthwhile?
