 | hi! some of you have seen a post i made a few weeks back about wanting to get into extreme trials, but being unsure where to start, basically a long ramble where i aired out my anxieties. some folks were kind enough to provide me with plenty of advice and encouragement, so i finally decided to jump in. after weeks of joining practice parties when they overlapped with when i had time (which admittedly, was not super often), i finally got my first clear of necron's embrace tonight! i definitely goofed up, made mistakes, but it was such a fun experience, i feel so proud of myself! now to hopefully get the wings in the coming weeks, or least some of the weapons for glam! thank you everyone who commented on the original post, it was nice to hear advice, especially as someone who can get quite anxious/in their head easily, i really needed it. (also! i will say, doing the current unreal was something that was not brought up to me as far as i remember as a tip/way to practice but that actually helped monumentally, it prepared me for the pacing/structure, and definitely felt like a substantial jump, without feeling completely overwhelming. i've run it a few times now, and feel like i have it down fairly well!) submitted by /u/death_arcade [link] [comments] |
