I recently grinded Island Sanctuary to acquire the Felicitous Thighboots glam, and I must say I enjoyed the content far more than I expected I would! In fact I wish it were available earlier in the game, so new players could enjoy it as well.
But I often found myself wanting to check on my retainers while I tended for my island. I understand it would be unrealistic for them to travel to your actual island, uncharted as it is.
All that is to say, I really think there should be a Retainer Bell next to Baldin, the Cieldalaes Fisherman who takes you to your island. Just so I don't have to Return to Limsa to do both.
