Tonight I posted in party chat "OMFG - motion sickness - I'm so sorry" for a particular storyline duty. I then zoomed in as far as I could and did some random attacks because I could see nothing. I also mentioned that I cannot lose more food. This is because around a year ago I lost a food because motion sickness caused me to throw it up and I now cannot eat it.
Got responses saying "you're fine" and "we're almost done" and I got the clear of the storyline dungeon.
I also got two pity commendations which made me smile.
People being so nice is what has kept me playing since the launch of FFXIV. Tonight was actually the worst I believe I have ever been but people are still nice.
