Just got to experience some of the North Horn and honestly, it feels so uninspired?
Other than iterating towards the reaction of the first Forked Tower, it feels exactly like the South Horn. Even most of the locales are kinda similar.
It makes me wonder if the Occult Crescent was actually PLANNED during Dawntrail's development, because it feels as if it was made out of nowhere without the care that the previous Field Operations had.
Phantom Jobs are the worst iteration of a power system due to how inflexible their usage is compared to Logos or Lost Actions. The story is very bite-sized, especially when we compare to Bozja. The scaling is not good. The actual layout is mostly empty space. The gameplay loop feels as cemented as the South Horn.. IDK, didn't they say they'd get the best of the previous Field Operations to iterate on this one? It surely doesn't feel like it.
Did we basically get South Horn again with a good Forked Tower this time?
