Hello, I don't play FFFXIV.
My main MMO is the Lord of the Rings Online which is a more classic MMO, with an older and more unadvertised community. But I want to throw some flowers and express my appreciation for the incredible FFXIV community that I'm seeing online, and also in real life with the recent Fanfest!
The players look very warm and friendly, and very creative too with the wonderful outfits I see on Twitter (kinda jealous of you guys' and gals' beautiful outfits......)
I'm sure there are some bad apples in the basket like in every community, or maybe I'm just not aware of them, but to me from the outside, FFXIV looks like a place where people can express themselves freely and without fear. I've seen quite a few queer creators here and there, and it's lovely to see as a bi enby myself!
I'm so happy that MMOs can foster such a warm and positive environment and fan culture! Long live MMOs!
