The 7.41 relic step requires crystal paste to be collected by doing different duties.
Critical Engagements in the Occult Crescent, in particular, give only 5 paste per completion. The Forked Tower: Blood raid provides no reward at all. OC FATEs don't give anything either.
Why were these choices made? Rewards in the OC should be higher so that there's more reason to do the content.
We could think that FT: B was excluded because it's a hard raid, yet M9-12S, Doomtrain EX and Quantum also provide rewards, similar to how the light step of the HW relic worked.
Being able to obtain crystal paste outside of OC is fine (I did do a mix of Bozja/Zadnor and raids at the time for the ShB relic book step, for instance) but having OC be the objectively worst way to complete it is puzzling when the weapons are related to it.
