Today is the day! The Pixel Arcadia Showcase is going to reveal whether Terranigma, after 31 long years, will finally emerge from licensing limbo and the depths of the ocean to return to the surface!
I personally believe they will actually show us a remaster or a remake today. I just can't believe they would clearly tease Terranigma only to not announce it.
Originally developed by Quintet and published by Enix, Terranigma puts you in the shoes of young Ark. The true Warrior of Light and Darkness. It has always been a dream of mine to see some representation of it in FFXIV. Now that everything points toward Terranigma finally making a comeback, this wish feels closer to reality than ever before!
What do you all think? Are you familiar with Terranigma, or did you perhaps play it yourself? For me, it is THE definitive game of my childhood, and I am incredibly excited for what the future holds.
