I am not a regular to these forums and this is my first post so apologies if this has been brought up before. My friend and I were talking about our hopes for the future of the game and ways in which we thought the devs could improve and we had a great idea that we wanted to share.
Our thoughts were specifically about modernizing the way expansion inn-rooms worked in order to give the player a customizable home base and a way to display expansion-specific trophies. So for every expansion we already get a new inn-room in the main city. But going forwards, once the player has finished the expansion msq the player in some way gets the 'key to the city', where the player is given their inn-room as a thank you for whatever services they have provided to the city. At which point this opens various customization options for the room - such as colour theme, maybe some furnishing, lighting options or music. I'm not suggesting we are given an apartment with free reign to place furnishings, but just some pre-set options to make it our own a little bit. The room could also come with a trophy cabinet that the player could work to fill throughout the post-expansion content - so this could include a trophy for completing the sightseeing log, trials, raids, fates, unique quests etc etc. I love completing achievements but I think that system really needs an overhaul and having something physical that you could look at would be a real bonus. This could also help alleviate some frustrations about player housing. Im a playstation player with a house - don't even get me started on how difficult it is to decorate in any interesting way on console! So again some extra ways to give players something bespoke and tailored to them I think would be an absolute win.
Oh and also PLEASE GOD give us orchestron playlists! I work hard to collect orchestron rolls - sometimes i want to listen to a chill playlist, sometimes i will want raid music. The limited single playlist per orchestron is so frustrating!
And while youre at it please can we have portable orchestrons so I can listen to the music i want when out in the world. The thought of seeing a lala with a portable boom-box or little walkman fills me with joy!
