 | For those who do not know, the latest Playerscope clone after Memoria shut down has been making the rounds. What it does is scan your character when someone with the plugin sees them and puts them onto their census. Where this differs from some other sites like Simbiat.eu is that rather than scanning your Lodestone, it actively logs you in-game and can even link your alts together. For obvious reasons, this is a huge problem for privacy, especially for those who play alts to get away from stalkers who know their still active main. On July 26th, 2026, a countdown began, stating the site and all its data would be closed. Alongside a Japanese interview held on the 24th, it could be thought that, maybe, just maybe, the developer was trying to bring awareness to the problem. Granted, it was done in a rather psychotic way and the information was still made public, but maybe CS3 would fix the issue of alt tracking still being possible in the coming patches. Instead, the site remains open, only gaining a new coat of paint. Even the rotating "reviews" calling it a stalker plugin remain on display like a twisted badge of honor.
