So basically, I’m a level 50/51 White Mage and I’ve been playing for about two months now. I only discovered doing dungeons with actual players instead of NPCs like two days ago. At the lower levels I had really great experiences, but once I started doing dungeons closer to my level, I had two players get frustrated with me because I accidentally let them die. I genuinely didn’t mean to, I’m just still learning how to heal actual players instead of NPCs. One of them basically suggested that I should play DPS instead, so I tried Archer and Thaumaturge, but having to start over from level 1 has honestly not been fun at all. I spent last night and this morning trying them and I’m already bored. I had also just gotten my White Mage to level 50 and updated my cute outfit, so going from that back to basically nothing has been kind of a bummer lol. At the same time, I don’t want to keep frustrating people in higher level dungeons if I’m not good enough at healing yet. I genuinely like being a White Mage and would rather keep playing healer, but now I’m nervous about playing with other people. Idk what I should do. I’m just a sprout trying to learn
Edit: ty everyone for your suggestions! I'm awkward at responding to each individual one unless it's a question but I am taking everyone's advice ^-^
