I'm a long term fan of the Final Fantasy Series and have always wanted to give xiv a try. I've just started ARR and am really enjoying it. I think i'm about half way through the main quest. I have heard that the Storylines for the Raids and Alliance raids are really good and do become important down the line in later expansions.
Should I do the coils of Bahumat and the Crystal tower as soon as I finish ARR's main story quest or is there another point where it is better to come back to them? The story is honestly my favorite part so far so I want to do whatever is best for the story. My concern is that I don't have any friends who play the game currently and I don't have a guild. Am i likely to have any success using the duty finder for those missions? Can you even use the duty finder for raids like that?
Any and all advice about how to do them in whatever order is best for the story would be massively appreciated. Similarly any advice on potentially finding a group or using the duty finder for them would be a big help! thanks!
