The Cosmic Exploration project has thus far had 3 phases, with the third one seeing worlds completing these last few weeks. Here I will succinctly break down the outcomes of each phase
Phase 1: The Moon
This phase of the project was using an empty crater on the moon as a giant experimental facility to develop the technology and structures we would need for future projects. The main innovation was the Cosmoliner, a series of "artificial aether currents" that facilitate airborne travel between two points as it was assumed alien worlds would not gurantee the existence of such currents.
Additional developments were the design for habitation units, food, water and power structures, and the development of mecha for construction and exploration purposes, as well as designing the spacecraft we would use to "hop" between worlds.
Phase 2: Phaenna
Phaenna is the first planet the Lopporitt determined would be able to sustain an expedition. A planet almost entirely made of glass, there were many structures there that at first glance looked like life but were in fact yet more glass. Glass trees, flowers, "fish". As such the planet is entirely devoid of life, but was a literal "goldmine" in terms of resources. Using the unique glass and minerals found on the planet we developed two things: Solar Power, and a telescope/observatory built on the planet that would allow much further analysis of the stars. This latter development allowed us to find the next planet.
Phase 3: Oizys
This desert/wasteland world is currently being torn to shreds by strange gravitational anomalies floating low in its atmosphere. The forces are strong enough the ocean itself is curving towards the anomalies and large chunks of the planet are slowly drifting away from the surface.
Despite this there is plant life and water on the planet unlike Phaenna. We also discovered various structures and ruins. As we progressed it was determined these ruins were made not by native inhabitants but another star faring species dubbed the "Voyagers" meaning the ruins are of an expeditionary project just like the Cosmic Exploration initiative.
However unlike our technology, the Voyagers did not use metal and circuitry. They apparently possess some extremely advanced geomancy, as the structures they created were "grown" from the ground itself. Additionally their computers, giant green crystal formations, are made from "fossilized plant matter"
Believing initially that perhaps their expedition was destroyed by the gravity anomalies is has now being determined after reactivating the giant 3 story tall "computer" left behind they managed to leave the star by manipulating its gravity. This has led to some speculation the anomalies may have being caused by the Voyagers leaving the planet. Regardless on the giant computer was the Voyagers escape trajectory and as such the next phase currently in planning is to use this data to follow these strange space farers with mastery over rock to the point it is analogous to our own advanced tech
