So i was discussing with one friend about possibilities for the phase 2 in m12 and we got the scenario where it's possible to have a phase 2 with a good ending(or almost that)
Let me explain, in theory all phases 2 are more closed to a more tense, sad or melancholic, in general really it was not a good scenario happening
Now for the upcoming m12s phase 2, i firmly believe that we can go to a path where the president assumes a hybrid form like all the other fights, regain control over himself and decide do just do a last show for the audience fighting us in a more light way and not like "I'm evil incarnate" thing happening in the main story
For me that would be best path they can go(imo) since we always had phases 2 where all is at the stake, "kill or be killed" "The world is in danger" etc. and having a fight where is just the president and myself doing a match for the show would be really fun
"And what about the cure?" that's the reason i wrote "almost" up there, yeah the immortalized still need the cure and the lindwurm it's the only thing that can produce it so i believe at the end the president will die anyway, but for me would be a amazing send off to the president he having the best and more excited fight in all arcadion against the champion(us) so it's more a bittersweet ending
Another thing that make me believe this can be possible is a theory that the music in the final cutscene after we defeat the lindwurm can be the phase 2 music and this music have a completely different feeling from the previous phases 2 in arcadion. "A risky bet" and "Peerless" hype us but we feel that the fight is really serious and dangerous now and the one that played at the cutscene is more like "Now we got at the best part, let's fucking go"
But there's the usual phase 2 way where we believe that the lindwurm will consume the immortalized souls to gain a new super form and this would align more with all previous phases 2
So what's your theories about the phase 2 in the last fight?
