Recently, some discussion brought up "Fate" as something new introduced by the Milala in 7.4. Namely this text here:
Well, i just went looking for something, and this is not the first time fate is connected to us:
Azem's Crystal
Given that the key has Azems symbol when we get it, and Azem is the one that has the "fate shall follow" line, it is a clear continuation, not something new. More like, remembering something small.
So, since Fate is connected to Azem, and we are the current Azem, i think we will soon learn what Azem was doing, and what Fate they brought with them. Perhaps "Fate" will even be used in the next expansions title.

Herein I commit the chronicle of the traveler. Shepherd to the stars in the dark.
Though the world be sundered and our souls set adrift, where you walk, my dearest friend, fate shall surely follow.
