I joined FFXIV just a few days after Dawntrail's launch, so this is my first time seeing all the excitement and speculation about a new expansion for this game. I was wondering if anyone who's been around longer would be willing to share- What were some of your favorite bits of fan speculation in the past? Did any of them come true?
It's an awful lot of fun as a lore nerd to see all these discussions deeply analyzing the game and the details we have about what's next and I'd be really interested to hear about the speculative theories people had back for things like Shadowbringers or Endwalker!
