Some of FFXIV's music has been severely overused and has worn out its welcome, and should be permanently retired from all new content.
First and foremost: Machinations. That song is so massively overused, pretty much everyone detests it now. It should should absolutely not be used in Evercold or any future content, ever again.
Also ban:
As a general rule of thumb, if it is in the Quests tab of the Orchestrion UI, and was introduced in the ARR era, don't use it, or use it very sparingly.

- Tranquility
