My house in game was wrongly demolished. I entered my estate's house a mere 3 hours after it was demolished, without notifying me even once that the demolition process had begun! According to SE's policies, there are to be FOUR emails sent to the player/subscriber notifying them that the Demolition process has begun. 1st one at 30 days, 2nd one at 35 days, 3rd at 42 days, and the final one at 45 days saying it will be demolished. Here's my problem: I did not receive even ONE of those emails! I have received emails from SE before over the 16 years of playing this game. I have had that same estate for almost 15 years!!! I got sick for awhile, and wasn't able to login any sooner than I did. But I was doing my best to keep up with it. Had I been notified of ANY of the FOUR emails that the demolition process had begun, I would've made a harder effort to login, regardless of me being sick, or I would've had someone in my household do it for me so it wouldn't be demolished. I wasn't notified,...AT ALL!!! I have filters set up in my email settings that anything from "Square Enix" or "FFXIV" be sent to my inbox. I haven't seen ANYTHING from them. I've checked and double checked my filters that they are set up correctly, and checked and double checked my email address on file that it is still accurate. Seems pretty accurate when my subscription payment goes through, and when advertisements go through! But when demolition starts, it doesn't go through???? That's not something on MY end, that's something on SE's end! I want this further investigated! I've received in-game responses from the "Game Master Team" to my original complaint submitted on May 18, 2026. It took them 5 days to respond, but they said they would escalate it. They gathered information, and I was very detailed in what I gave them. Then I logged in checking for a response on May 26th, but still had nothing from that team, and I knew timing was of essence so I didn't lose my things being held by the NPC, so I messaged them again asking for a response. They responded on May 30th. That's too long to wait for a response that is time sensitive! Their last response said this:
"Our engineers have reviewed the information you provided and have determined that the notifications for Housing Demolition were sent correctly to this account. We ask that you please review your email accounts to find these specific emails."
I had alredy TOLD them in my initial submitted complaint that I'd checked my email settings and checked my SPAM folder but saw no emails from SE or FFXIV and my SPAM emails dated far back into last year!!! I never go into that folder, so if it had gone into that folder, I would've seen it!!...and trust me, I'm thorough! So that's when I checked in my Mog Station account that my email was correct. It is. NOTHING HAS CHANGED on my end with my email address!! The filters I've set up were set up YEARS ago! And let me add, my estate has gone into demolition many times over the years when I get distracted in life, or sick. But only SOMETIMES have I gotten the "demolition process has started" emails. Not every time. There have been times I've logged into game because I had felt like it had been too long, and I get to my house and it flashed the red message across the screen that the demolition process has stopped. So that is proof that your system does not always work!!..just like any computer in this world! But I can guarantee, that if you sent out those emails, it *IS* possible that Yahoo Mail did not receive them. But I am telling you, as a LOYAL subscriber from launch day (9-30-2010) that I have never let my house get demolished because I was either notified by your emails to log in AND enter the estate's house, or I had a hunch it had been too long since my last login. This ONE time, I wasn't able to log in until 3 hours after the 45th day ended, and you take my 15 years of things away from me in game, but further grind the punishment in by telling me you have sent the email notifications, but I do not have them. Something is WRONG! Maybe Technical support can figure it out? And yes, in the last response the team sent me on May 30th, they said they checked my logins and did not see a login within that 45 day range. I explained that to them in my original complaint. That tells me they ignored the information I gave them!!!
So I would like to ask for a SUPERVISOR or Higher level technician to further investigate my issue. I have checked and double checked my email address, folders, settings, and filters, and all is well on my end. This is something on YOUR end. And I would like my house back because of it. It certainly can not be expected that I would sit vigil at my computer to play FFXIV at every second of every day. People have lives, they get sick. Can you please look into this situation? I've invested WAY too much for the quip unhandled responses I've been given in untimely manners.
**EDIT**: Also, I have NO idea how long the NPC has been holding my things since the demolition seeing as I have no way of knowing what day the demolition took place because I have NO EMAILS recording that day! My Logins list only shows the last 10 logins and my current last 10 have pushed the demolition date off the list! If I HAD the 4 emails I'm supposed to have gotten, I would know when this deadline is before he's going to throw away all of my stuff! I had to pay 500k for an apartment to be able to save the indoor things, but I can't put the outdoor things in there!
