I know Sage has been discussed up to high heaven over the last couple of years I just haven't found any discussion over how to heal large and fast besides Zoe+Pneuma.
Finally reached level 100 with the class and have been playing the later dungeons with randoms, I've got the pull strategy down and basically never struggle with it. My big problem that I'm struggling with consistently is burst healing the party during Boss Fights. Even in raids I'm assuming the other healer is pulling most of the weight with party-wide healing.
I'm using Pepsis+Kerachole before the big casts (something I'm working on is applying the habit of using Krasis before all of that), applying shields with E. Prog. Usually everyone save for tanks tend to get hit for about 30%-50% of their HP. This is where the problem comes in:
Usually I follow up the big damage with E. Prog -> Eukrasia -> Pepsis -> E. Prog to reapply the shields, followed with regular Prog to finalize the healing. This has worked in almost all content <90. Now that brings the DPS's and myself to maybe needing another 25% of our HP to restore, I've added Holos to that and it's another E. Prog of Potency with a Mit, but still feels like nothing.
Now Pepsis and Kerachole are both regenerating everyone as well, don't want to leave out that, and with the previous details this whole combo has barely healed a party to roughly full with shields again, but ultimately people are going to get hit by abilities and all sorts of stuff, so it's been a bit rough.
That's really the main issue, how do I heal people a lot? I know Sage is a regen/barrier Healer, but man this later content blasts through my shields like no tomorrow and the regen feels agonizingly slow. I fit in Pan Haima on big repeating Stack Marker hits, but maybe I could use that more often. I save Zoe+Pneuma for panic moments (which brings me up to half health from nothing, which sounds nice, but the amount of damage party-wides do is so much the target might as well still be dead if I can't weave another heal in that time). I've seen the comment to move Kardia around also, which I've tried and while it is nice it barely does anything compared to the bigger heals I have on hand so it feels like a love-tap more than an actual solution or even part of a solution.
Also not discounting that maybe I do have a decent enough handle on this, and randoms could just be doing better in avoiding some telegraphs, I don't want to think like that though as that would hinder growth on my end. Tank at least is almost never having a problem which is nice XD. Ultimately looking to just be a better healer, the class is super fun and I love playing it a lot, but I think I could do more lol.
