Figured I'd start seeing what people envision for their personal storylines beyond the bounds of canon, because why not. I like to encourage people's creativity.
Personally, my WoL, Abarwyda Sunngybet, had just finished unloading cargo from the merchant ship she worked on, and was having lunch with Moenbryda at the Last Stand, reminiscing about good times with Urianger growing up; the lad was getting into all sorts of trouble on the mainland during 1.0, in the name of averting the Garlean nightmare, and both Moenbryda and Abarwyda were worried sick about him. So, you know, the whole Dalamud situation wasn't exactly helping with the nerves and all.
