Rich people who dont partake in the Marketboard stuff, how do you make your gil?

The title says it all. Im trying to look into ways to make gil, and I'm planning on giving the Gatherers a try, but if Im being real, I dont really care about the MarketBoard, and Im not confident that Im gonna actually like the Crafters(hell, Im only trying Gatherers because I'm caught up on the MSQ, am tired of bring broke, and Gatherers are simple, and can lead into the Crafters if I do end up likin em.)
