The event will be ending on Thursday, March 12th at 8am PDT / 11am EDT / 3pm GMT - about 46 hours from now. Anyone affected by daylight savings time, please note the time difference compared to previous events.

I'm posting this notice earlier than usual because it can take longer than previous events, as a FATE is involved. It's 10-15 minutes at the minimum, but maybe up to an hour if you want one of everything.

Don't miss out on getting your free Oversized idol shirts, new Cheer Rhythm emotes, orchestrion, indoor and outdoor housing decorations, and event achievement! You will need to be level 15 to start the event. The quest is What Can Eye Do for You, at the Steps of Nald in Ul'dah (10, 8).

There *IS* a repeatable FATE with currency. You don't need to have finished the event quest to get currency. To participate, you'll need to talk to the Royal Handmaiden on the steps and get an outfit buff - the character/color you pick doesn't matter - then wait for the FATE to spawn on the stage across from the steps. You'll need to run the FATE 5 times if you want one of everything including the furnishings, but only 3 times if you want just the cosmetics/emotes/orchestrion.

The FATE takes just over 3 minutes, and randomly takes 2-6 minutes to respawn.

To get gold credit in the FATE (worth 4 tokens), just match the color of your cheer to the color of the targeted performer on stage 6 times. It does not matter what color shirt you are wearing (you don't even need to cheer for the person whose shirt you're wearing), you just need to correctly cheer 6 times throughout the entire performance. If you jump in when the FATE has around 1:15 left, you should have enough rounds for gold ranking.

[For science, 1-2 correct is bronze (worth 0 tokens), 3-5 is silver (worth 2 tokens). I did 6 of all wrong choices once, and the FATE didn't even acknowledge I had participated when it ended, LOL.]

4 of the emotes are given as the quest reward. The rest of the rewards are bought with tokens from the Royal Servant near the original quest giver. There are 4 pieces of glamour (Oversized Neotunics), 2 additional cheer emotes, 1 orchestrion, and 3/1 interior/exterior housing items - along with the usual fireworks items from previous years.

There are no follow-up quests, but you can chat with each of the performers and get some of the same fireworks that the vendor has. There are also some familiar faces visiting the event area if you look around for them.

Enjoy!
