Question for the linguistics buffs: is there evidence that Huntspeak is based on a real-world language/language family?

I’m very curious as I haven’t come across much information regarding it, other than the click consonants and that it involves whistling. Owing to the societal structure the Seekers follow being based on lions, I was wondering if it might have taken inspiration from a language originating in Africa. Quick Wikipedia search revealed that Bantu has some click consonants and southern Bantu has a whistled adaptation for communication across long distances (such as while hunting, perhaps?), but I know next to nothing about languages from that continent.

Thoughts?
