Hair was not fit correctly to ears, a bulge was created to stretch the hair to the ears, instead of widening the hair to be streamlined to the ears. By doing this the scalp looks shrunken compared to other similar hair and the ears look out of place. This seems to only effect the Female Miqo'te version, the Male Miqo'te version does not seem to have this problem.
