To preface this post, I want to say that I am a sucker for consolidation. Some people may call it a form of homogenization, but I mostly want organization to make my brain happy.
I propose that Raise be turned into a Role Action, removing Resurrection, Ascend, and Egeiro from the game.
For one insignificant benefit, it would allow for incredibly low level FATEs to be done with Raise accessible. For another, Raise macros would be culled and easier to make just one of for all your healers.
In terms of gameplay, all forms of Raise already give the "Raise" buff to KO'd players, making different versions feel a little redundant. This would also help your eyes see a healer casting "Raise" and the targeted player party number, an even easier association.
Onto other classes effected by this, I believe that Red Mage should keep Verraise, given, in lore, their whole thing is to have both white and black magic. But, on the other hand, Arcanist/Summoner should have Resurrection removed and given either damage number buffs or a new button (perhaps a support AoE mitigation akin to Pictomancer and Red Mage) to compensate for no longer being a "Raise caster."
Further, I believe Physick should at least be adjusted to have a separate version for Arcanist/Summoner that scales off of Intelligence, but that is a discussion for another time.
All in all, please Square change Raise.
