tl;dr: Going to the Fanfest when coming from Berlin main station you have to take a replacement bus to the Zoo before continuing to Messe süd. This applies to the reverse direction too.
I was just checking how often the train goes and saw that on the weekend Google Maps always gave me a route that included a bus that took an extra 20 minutes on a trip that's normally 15 minutes. Going back and forth with the dates it seemed that only the next weekend is affected, so I'm assuming there are some maintenance works happening. It seems that trains are not taking the section between Berlin Hbf and Berlin Zoologischer Garten.
