So I've seen speculation about where 8.0 will take place, but not necessarily who will be in the cast. I recall reading a Yoshi-P interview where he mentioned one of the takeaways of Dawntrail was not to half ass any of the Scions. In essence, the only characters who will be a part of an expansion will be those who can be utilized well.
I know there's a lot of people who want the Scions retired but realistically I don't find it happening. Where the fate of the star is concerned, they are intertwined. I do think we are bound to see a smaller cast go with us into each expansion and our ranks are filled out with newer characters. That said, each of the current Scions does have a good path set.
G'raha and Krile atp I strongly feel are with us regardless of where. G'raha is way too popular to ever be retired, and 7.4 felt like a good kickoff to make Krile an important main character going forward as she works to protect the land she now sees as home. Also, DT did her dirty. As for the rest, Alphinaud and Alisaie definitely need to cool off. Everyone else is definitely going to be brought along based off location so my question is, what are y'alls thoughts on this and who else might join in?
Bonus: It's not gonna happen but if Fordola can also join us in 8.0 that'd be pretty damn neat.
