I've been one of those players who signed in and out to keep my house going. I haven't really been passionate at all about the game.
Then I completed Relic in less than a day, and the content was FANTASTIC. Something for the crafters, something for North Horn, something for replaying all of Dawntrail content all over again. It was exhilirating.
The next few days I've spent in North Horn. While I'm L40, I haven't yet taken on Forked Tower: Magic just yet. I figure I should buy all of the gear with Occult Bonuses first not to weigh down my party.
But North Horn? YOU LISTENED TO US. Holy crap did you listen. Everything I loved about Eureka is in here. The diversity of battles, the diverse landscapes, the leveling system, the danger of enemies that will always be able to aggro you. It is majestic.
I'm so thrilled for this patch. I haven't done Manderville yet but I imagine that's going to be a hoot. I'm also thrilled to grind out more in North Horn to finish FT:M when I'm ready to take that on.
My only annoyance is that the Reaper weapon colors are ugly. I'm willing to overlook this, but it is a pain point that I can't show off my accomplishment and look good at the same time.
