After 6 years of KB&M, I’ve been playing FFXIV on Steam Deck(therefore controller) for about 2 months and overall it feels great.
The only thing I still struggle with is using the D-pad (left cross buttons) while moving with the analog stick.
Since both use the left thumb, I either have to stop moving or auto-run to press my D-pad abilities. and Auto run feels very inconsistent and i'm losing GCD's trying to auto run to the right direction.
Does anyone have tips, settings, or workarounds to make this easier?
