 | My husband and I met working at Best Buy together 7 years ago and he asked me to play Final Fantasy XIV. Little did I know that would be the start of our forever and I'd be marrying my Warrior of Light We decided to have our wedding be Final Fantasy themed with a heavy focus on XIV. My husband's ring is the same ring as Squall's from Final Fantasy VIII. My ring was inspired by the aetherytes in Final Fantasy XIV! The receipt and time card are from when I first played the game and is my first ever time card. I can't believe I held onto it after all these years but I'm glad I did We had aethernet shards as center pieces Our "guest book" was a moogle mailbox where guests could leave a note on postcard. The yellow feather pen is meant to be a chocobo feather pen My husband's mom asked me to send her pictures of our characters and surprised us with a printed sign of us for our gift table (we do not support the use of generative AI, but his mom had surprised us with this and we included it as it was a gift. Please do not be mean about this) Our cake topper was our characters in their Eternal Bonding gear! Final Fantasy VIII is my husband's favorite FF game, so he posed with his gunblade. Dancer is my main class, so we put together and painted these 3D printed chakrams and took photos with them. We also positioned our weapons in one of the photos as a reference to Final Fantasy X. My nails have our main job symbols on them! (We also collect trading cards and had a pack battle, the card was our only hit) Our thank you cards were quest boxes I made in Canva. As a reward for the "quest" and a wedding favor, we had chocolates decorated with a flower meant to look like the Elpis flower. I made our signature drinks menu in Canva as well and are based off backstories we have written for our characters! I also made the map in Canva! We had music from the Pulse remix playing during our cocktail hour and some FF jazz covers for dinner. It all came together beautifully  I am really excited to share these photos. Our photographer was a dream to work with and really did an amazing job to capture something so special my husband and I share.
