Usually at FanFest there's an area with several PCs where you can try out an upcoming trial, either from next expansion or later in the current one's .55 patch. Sometimes they'd even give out T-shirts to those who cleared. Last time it was Asura (albeit with no T-shirt), and before that I believe it was Titania.
This was notably absent from this year's EU FanFest. It was a little disappointing since I brought my MMO mouse with pre-loaded keybinds and everything just for it. I didn't attend NA FanFest so I don't know whether they got one for Enuo.
Maybe there's a reason they didn't do it; there's no trial in 7.55 and/or the first 8.0 trial isn't ready yet - but I hope this doesn't mean they aren't doing battle challenges anymore. It would be strange considering they just released the Configuration Sharing feature for seemingly this purpose.
