Hello fellow warriors of light. I am a newer player to ffxiv, I say newer but I have completed the MSQ through Dawntrail, but have not really messed with jobs outside of Warrior which I took all the way through. My question is about savage raiding and how do you find a group to go with? What gear do I need to even be considered? I would like to do the AAC Heavyweight Savage raids. I am nervous about going through the party finder and not sure if that is the best route or not.
I have a full set of the crafted Lovers currently.
I have looked at some of the discords but most seem really…… I don’t want to sound toxic but more like they have a full squad already and maybe one person dropped out and their looking for another hardcore savage raider not really a newer player.
I have watched videos from Hector Hectorson on the mechanics, are these still the go-to on Strats? Do you recommend someone or something different?
Thank you all for reading and commenting/helping. I absolutely love the raids in ffxiv. I know there is still a lot more to do in game and really excited to keep exploring but, like I said I love the raids and want to dive deeper in that.
Any suggestions on newer player friendly discords, or other information definitely welcome. (I am in The Balance Discord)
