So, I made a post here earlier saying I was thinking about maining a healer. A lot of you recommended White Mage — so I went for it!
Here’s my short and sweet review so far:
Lv. 1–30:
Super easy. Dungeons were actually really fun, queue times were basically nonexistent, and I could just throw in some damage between heals.
NICE!
But now we’re getting into the 40–50 range…
And holy crap, that Lv. 41 dungeon was WILD.
Some of these tanks are absolutely fearless. They just sprint into massive packs like:
“Yeah, I got this.”
Meanwhile they’re sitting at 5% HP, and I’m desperately throwing every heal I have at them like:
“BRO.."
I genuinely had to react FAST, and at some points it felt more stressful than playing DPS, which I definitely wasn’t expecting.
I always thought healing would be pretty chill, but apparently keeping these tanks alive is a full-time job. Hahah
Or is this just a tank thing? Are they supposed to be doing this?!
Either way — massive respect to all the healers out there.
I’m sticking with it and trying to get better. Let’s see how far I can take this!
