Problem
When progressing the MSQ while queued for a roulette on a lower‑level job, quests require swapping to a higher‑level job to start or turn in the step.
As soon as you do that, the game often triggers a long cinematic and your roulette queue is immediately invalidated because you’re now on the wrong job.
Impact
Players are forced into a lose‑lose situation:
a) abandon the roulette queue they were waiting for, or
b) cancel the cutscene they just triggered
Solution
Split the cinematic so a short 10–15 second “start/finish quest” cutscene is separated from the longer cinematic. This would let players:
a) stay in their roulette queue
b) briefly swap jobs to start/turn in the quest (playing a short cinematic)
c) then swap back to their queued job before watching the long cinematic
The story flow stays intact and players gain flexibility and avoid queue disruptions.
