At some point devs redesigned the 2 dungeons into 2 smaller dungeon + trial. Right now they are barely longer than your normal dungeons (still longer tho due to cutscenes), and roulette gives not much more exp than a leveling roulette.
The thing is, this dungeons by themselves don't give anything aside from crumbs of exp. As someone who did level a couple of alts in my playtime, i remember that every time i reached the end of 2.0 MSQ, there was a single problem - despite getting ilvl 90 left side of the gear from a job quest, you cannot do quite a lot of the dungeons right after finishing MSQ. The crumbs of poetics you get from the MSQ dungeons are something, but they won't let you buy much. Sure, you can buy i110 or i115 gear from the market board, but it might be expensive at the time (for the new player) or not be there at all.
What devs could do is to make ilvl 90 accessories and put them into the MSQ dungeons. Same way we have accessories drop in the 3 top level dungeons at the start of every expansion. Also they could add some additional "fun" loot, like a minion to the dungeons and a "welcome" mount to the trial. That would help a new player, who reaches their first "endgame" for sure.
