During all three previous variant dungeons, completing all 12 routes got you a mount.
The Merchant's Tale adds not one but TWO new mounts but NEITHER of them are obtainable via the normal dungeon, whether by completing the 12 routes or otherwise. Both mounts are only obtainable via the harder versions.
What an absolute slap in the face to us casual players who don't have the patience for high-end content. You went out of your way to have two mounts for this new content so it was fully within your ability to leave one obtainable via the 12 routes and the second via the harder versions, but I guess us casual players can either buckle down and get gud or go fuck ourselves.
