Steps:
1. Full party wipe while Flame Floater debuffs are being handed out.
Debuffs will only be removed if you would get the same debuff from Flame Floater again, otherwise they will persist indefinitely. A different debuff will not remove the persistent debuff.
Other people were able to see the debuffs, so I'm sure it's not an issue with my system.
