Hi fellow lore enthusiasts !
I was wondering recently... about the life cycle in this world
Based on the elements I know, and I may have missed a lot, but when a soul disappear, it regains the aetherial sea and is reincarnated in a new life, right ?
I guess that's kinda how the WoL is imbued with Azem's soul...
But it has me questioning about the number of souls... if one soul is born, it is because one was available after the death of another one, that leads to a conservative number of souls through the ages, safe for the few souls imprisoned in auracites or other one that can't be destroyed for whatever reasons... (That means the overall population can only decline in number and will end up extinguishing, but that's very far away)
On a side note, since there were ancients only in the beginning with dense aether, and souls reincarnate, soul dilution must happen through the age, meaning by that, how strong can remain the original soul ? I mean Azem's soul and skills seems to linger again and strongly in his crystal and in the WoL actually...
How come it does not become an entirely new soul at some point ? If you see what I mean...
and how come does not everyone have the echo ? at some points all the surviving ancients must have seen that meteor thingy that provides that skill and due to reincarnation...
Well, lots of questions, hope some of you have some clues and hints to that !
